About Us

One Spice® Origins

Founder Julia (Paraschos) Page, originally from Michigan, USA, spent the last twenty years managing marketing & sales departments, working in the corporate world both in the United States and internationally. After moving to New Zealand with her ‘Kiwi’ family a few years ago and settling in Whangarei, she quickly discovered that “big business” was nowhere to be found in her town.

It was then that Julia, having grown up in the restaurant business with her father and grandfather (both celebrated Greek chefs), as well as an avid cook and food lover herself, decided to try her hand as a culinary entrepreneur, launching a business with her flagship product; Greek One Spice®. The first chef of the family was her grandfather Peter, originating from Greece, who travelled the world as a cook until he settled in Flint, Michigan, opening his own restaurant. Her father George followed in his father’s footsteps and later opened his own restaurants.

Greek One Spice® is a blend of oregano, garlic, pepper, Himalayan mineral salt and herbs. Cook with it or sprinkle it on food using instead of salt & pepper!
